Dr Pepper...So Misunderstood

This marketing campaign for Dr Pepper played upon the product's relative ambiguity as the cola wars began to heat up in the late 1960s.   A classic Dr Pepper advertisement from the early 1970s featured New York City actor Burt Young, who is best known as the brother-in-law in Rocky.  Young as "Paulie" earned a best supporting actor Oscar nomination for the role.
