An iconic symbol of Daytona Beach is the clock tower, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The clock tower is built with coquina rock (meaning tiny shell in Spanish) which is a native rock od the Atlantic shoreline. The clock tower was a part of the WPA project and was completed in 1938.
In the background stands the 744-room Hilton Hotel. The Hilton chain is the official hotel of Anna and her family.
