At the foot of Annapolis' historic downtown is City Dock, the gateway to Chesapeake Bay.  The harbor is teeming with all manner of vessels -- from sailboats to water taxis to multimillion dollar yachts.

A vibrant downtown, in this city of 39,0000, is home to restaurants and pubs, shops, cozy bed and breakfasts located in historic homes, and St. John's College where Francis Scott Key learned to pen a poem or two.
