Wall Street's favorite tenant is undoubtedly the New York Stock Exchange, the largest exchange of its kind in the world.  The NYSE, also known as the Big Board, has traded securities since 1792.  It's market capitalization of companies is almost $17 trillion with $169 billion in trades occurring daily.

During the late 1970s actor David Naughton became widely known with his singing and dancing in the successful "Be a Pepper" advertisements (a montage of these commercials was featured in our Jan. 19th entry).   In 2010, three decades after these commercials aired, Naughton and a flash mob of singers and dancers reprised the iconic ads at the New York Stock Exchange after Dr Pepper representatives rang the closing bell.
