Wally's Service Station made numerous appearances on the show.   TV's best known mechanics - cousins Gomer and Goober Pyle - were employed here as well.

In one of the show's most endearing episodes, "A Man In A Hurry", a haggard businessman gets stranded in Mayberry and learns to appreciate the town's friendly pace and people.  The episode is provided below in its entirety.
