Anna Across America - Knoxville (Part 4: Game Day)

On seven Saturdays in the fall, Neyland Stadium becomes the fifth largest city in the State of Tennessee -- it's orange-clad denizens filling the majority of the 102,455 seats.  A football Saturday in Knoxville begins long before kickoff and the proclamation "It's Football Time In Tennessee"!  The pageantry draws alumni and fans from every part of the state and from around the country to enjoy the tailgate experience, the Vol Walk, the Pride of the Southland Marching Band's "Salute to the Hill",  and the nation's best pregame show...not to mention the football game held in a stadium that has been ranked number one by Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News.  For the uninitiated or for those who want to rekindle memories past, David Trundle takes us on a photographic journey through the gameday experience at UT enjoyed by daughter Anna for most of her 21 years.

The Peppermill:   For our friends and readers celebrating Hanukkah, the concentrates of Dr Pepper are certified kosher, according to the soft drink manufacturer.  Cheers!
